A translucent amber glass membrane suspended within a brushed brass ring frame. Light travels from the rim inward, illuminating the glass from its edge — the membrane appears to glow from within, casting a warm ambient glow across the space below.

Design Story
The Suspended Membrane explores the tension between rigidity and fluidity. A hand-blown amber glass sheet is captured within a precision-machined brass ring, its edges lit by a warm 2700K LED strip. The glass appears to float — neither fully solid nor fully liquid — a frozen moment of material transformation.
Inspired by the surface tension of water droplets, each piece is individually calibrated during assembly. The brass ring is brushed by hand in our studio, developing a patina that deepens with time.
